Josephine Juliet Drayton lived with her parents Stephney (also sometimes spelled Stephen) and Georgia Drayton until her death at 21 from Tuberculosis. She also had a half brother, Charlie S. Drayton, born June of 1883, who was the son of Stephney and stepson of Georgia. Stephney and his parents were from South Carolina. He was born May of 1953 and died in 1911. He was recorded in one of the directory records as working as a driver for the J. G. Butler Builder’s Supply Co. He and Georgia married on November 26, 1890. Georgia’s maiden name was Harris, and she was born December of 1865. They all lived together at 515 E. Hall Street.
